1: WE FOCUS ON SUPPLYING THE BEST QUALITY LOCAL PRODUCE FROM AROUND THE SOUTH WEST
We absolutely love flying the flag for South West produce and, luckily for us, the counties of Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Cornwall are bursting with delicious products ranging from cheeses to jams and cider (of course!) to fish.
As a small family business ourselves we are passionate about supporting other small businesses where we can.
Many of our suppliers are family owned and some are one wo(man) bands creating their fantastic produce alongside running all the other aspects of the business from production and quality control to accounts and social media.
Here at Orchardlea Foods, we have built up relationships with many of our suppliers over the years and have borne witness to the growth and success of some of the biggest food and drink names in the South West including Quicke’s Cheese, Chunk of Devon and Langage Farm whose products can now be found up and down the country and even further afield.
2: We can supply in both large and small quantities
Here at our unit in Exeter we have two dedicated cutting rooms where we slice and pack meats and cut cheeses to suit shop or caterer requirements – making us the ideal choice no matter the size or scale of your business.
Once sliced and packed our retail meats and cheeses are weighed and labelled with our own Orchardlea Foods branded label containing all the essential product info including allergens and nutritional values. We usually include the price on this label however some of our customers prefer to calculate their own pricing and so, adding to the bespoke nature of our service, we can take out the price for these customers.
Our customers range from rural community shops ordering 1 or 2 packs of everything per week to deli’s ordering in bulk for their counters and restaurants and caterers ordering for their menus. Our customers are able to order individually and in pack sizes to suit them which could make us ideal for your business!
3: Our own fleet of vans deliver throughout the South West
We have four bespoke designed vans featuring the Orchardlea Foods branding which go out delivering our fantastic products throughout the West Country.
We currently deliver our set delivery routes five days a week from Monday-Friday everywhere from Bristol to West Bay and Penzance to Ilfracombe. We are passionate about bringing the tastes of the South West to as many people as possible and spreading the word about the small producers making it all happen behind the scenes.
