A blue veined cheese mainly produced in the northern Italian regions of Piedmont and Lombardy. Gorgonzola is one of the worlds oldest blue cheeses which explains its popularity. It is made using unskimmed cow’s milk and can vary in flavour from buttery and smooth to sharp and tangy.
