British Food Fortnight – West Country Olives

British Food Fortnight starts today and we’re celebrating by showcasing the best produce the south west has to offer with a focus on our local producers.

Today we’re shining a light on our sister company west country olives.

West Country Olives are producers of a delicious range of olives sourced from around the Mediterranean and marinated in house using locally sourced ingredients here in Exeter.

West Country Olives is a relatively new venture established last year. Mammoth green Halkidiki and Kalamata olives are blended with local Bell & Loxton rapeseed oils alongside a variety of flavours to create a unique taste experience.

The olives are packed in resealable 175g pouches for retail as well as 1kg packs for catering, these packs are vacuum packed and then gas flushed which keeps the olives at their best for longer and allows for ambient temperature storage.
