This True Grit is from one of our suppliers Carron Lodge. They are a family run business that produces over 30 varieties of cheese using the milk form their farm. The True Grit is matured for longer to give a more intense flavour. The gritty texture is from the natural salt crystals which occur during the aging process. This cheese comes wrapped in an interesting green wax.
