2: We use the best Greek olives combined with West Country flavours

Last year we began sourcing our olives from a family farm in Halkidki in Greece. These great quality olives are then shipped to us where we combine them with delicious West Country Flavours.

Our olives come from a family farm in Halkidiki. Our MD Liam and his family went over to visit during the September 2024 harvest and really loved getting to see more of the olive growing process. The green olives are the Mammoth Halkidiki variety – the second largest variety! We also stock the Mammoth Kalamata, Moroccan Black and Nocellara olives. These are then marinated with Bell & Loxton rapeseed oil, grown here in Devon, and local ingredients. We love championing local and our pesto is vegan and nut free made by Janey at Feast Kitchen in Kingsbridge. We also use chilli flakes from South Devon Chilli Farm in our Garlic & Chilli and Hot Chilli varieties.

3: We use oil but not too much

It was important to us when we began producing our own olives that the oil wouldn’t mask the flavour.

To this end we only use a small amount of Bell & Loxton rapeseed oil in each of our marinades. Enough to coat the olive and nothing more which results in all the wonderful flavour but no excess as well as retaining the integrity of our olives. It’s a win win!

4: Our packaging is fully recyclable!

As you can see we have come quite a way with our packaging and we’ve been working on this latest rebrand for a while now. We’re so proud that it can now be fully recycled!

Our olives have always come in vacuum packed bags which can be resealed.  Our newest iteration is now also fully recyclable! We’re really happy with how it looks as well as the more sustainable packaging option. Once you’ve enjoyed your olives pop the pack in the recycling ready to be made in to something new.

Has this been enough to convince you to start stocking these West Country Olives?!
