Artisan Scotch Eggs now Available to Order!

Artisan Scotch Eggs from Shepherd Shack Catering are now available to order through us!

We’re excited to now be listing these delicious scotch eggs in our product range and to this end thought we’d introduce their entire range of flavours. Discover these below!

Shepherd Shack initially launched as an events caterer but more recently turned their hand to creating a range of wholesale deli items including the award-winning scotch eggs.

We first listed these in our Christmas 2023 brochure and we’ve now decided to list them permanently!

Shepherd Shack are as passionate as we are about supporting local and to demonstrate this their award-winning scotch eggs are made using the best locally sourced ingredients. For instance the main ingredient in their scotch eggs – the eggs themselves! – are free range and sourced from Black Dog Eggs in Mid-Devon. As well as this the other main ingredient – the sausage meat! – is sourced from Gibbins Quality Meats in Exeter.

We are incredibly excited for you to try these if you haven’t already and similarly we’re we can’t wait to introduce the flavours now available, discover them below!

Artisan Scotch Eggs – The Stock List

Artisan Original

The OG of the scotch eggs this one is a straight up classic, sausage meat combined with mixed herbs and a deliciously runny yolk – need we say more!

Korean Style Pork

Traditional scotch egg sausage meat mix combined with the intensely warming flavours of Korean BBQ. As a result this scotch egg is full of flavour and perfect for a quick lunch or snack.

Full English

All the flavours of an English breakfast but in a scotch egg, ultimately what’s not to love?

Smoked Pork & Hoi Sin

Oh my goodness this one is delicious! Chinese style pork with hoi sin sauce and as a result it’s one of my favourites!

Marmite & Cheddar

Love it or hate it this this one is sure to divide opinion although you can’t argue with the combination of flavours.

Twisted Rancher

The original rancher scotch egg with a twist, this version is extra flavoursome from the addition of smoked chorizo.

Cheegan

A vegan scotch egg, who knew it could taste this good!?

Jerked Jackfruit

Another vegan option this one combines traditional Jerk spices alongside jackfruit and peas.
