British Food Fortnight – Curworthy Cheese

it’s british food fortnight and we’re celebrating by showcasing the best the south west has to offer with a focus on our local producers.

today we’re highlighting curworthy cheese.

Curworthy Cheese have been producing their award-winning Devon cheeses for the last 25 years from Stockbeare Farm near Dartmoor.

Using milk sourced from surrounding dairy farms Curworthy use their signature full fat hard cheese in a number of variations to produce their range. The original Curworthy is light and buttery when young developing into a full flavoured creamy cheese once matured. This mellow base lends itself well to the addition of extra flavours.

We stock the following varieties of Curworthy cheeses all available in individual retail packs as well as larger catering or deli sizes:

DEVON OKE – MATURE AND CREAMY, MATURED FOR 6-7 MONTHS 

CHIPPLE –  TRADITIONAL CURWORTHY SPRING ONION

MELDON – TRADITIONAL CURWORTHY WHOLEGRAIN MUSTARD
