Here’s what’s coming up this year at Orchardlea!
Source Trade Show
First up is the Source Trade Show held at West Point in Exeter from 3rd-4th February.
This is our opportunity to meet with you our wonderful existing customers and potential new customers. It’s also a great opportunity to meet potential new suppliers and we usually end up with a few new product ideas as a result. Here’s hoping for this year!
Come and find us on Stand L4 where we’ll be joined by our sister company West Country Olives and two of our newest suppliers: Bistro Chef and Chilli Crisp.
Bistro Chef are produces of delicious, restaurant quality ready meals which have been a great addition to our product range so far. You guys love them! Meals include: Beef Bourguignon, Sea Bass Fillets with Garlic Butter & Ratatouille, Fish Pie and more! Check out our Instagram post about them here.
We only started stocking the Chilli Crisp just before Christmas but it is already selling well. If you don’t know what this is it’s described as a unique condiment and is made using a blend of selected chillies, Sichuan peppercorns, fermented black beans and crunchy onions combined with infused oils.
These suppliers will all be offering samples so come along and try before you buy!

We have our own app!
This is a big one! We’ve talked about launching this for almost as long as I’ve been working here (a long time!) and this year at Orchardlea it’s finally happening! We’re excited to let you know that we’re in the final stages of launching our very own ordering app!
We think this will be great for you. You can order whenever you like, see our entire product range in one space and see our latest promotions, special offers and new products in one click.
We’re hoping to have this launched in time for the Source show where we’ll be showing demos of how to use it. Available to download now but not yet live so watch this space for more info!
New flavours of West Country Olives!
We’re so proud of our sister company which continues to grow and thrive.
As you may have seen last year West Country Olives are everywhere! In your local shop, at foodie events throughout the South West and even on TV! Late last year they launched the new Mediterranean Triada which was a hit. This year they’ve set their sights on releasing some more new flavours which we can’t wait to share with you!

New product guide!
Hannah is currently beavering away at our new product guide!
We hope this will be ready for the Trade Show but please bear this us! We do have a lot of products and we are looking at adding some more tasty treats this year. As always we’ll keep you updated as to when this is available and make sure to send copies out to you as soon as we can.

We love supporting our small producers and getting their products out to a wider audience. It’s what we love about our jobs (that and the endless supply of cheese and olives!) so we will continue to provide this service to you.
We also love supporting you. Everyone from our warehouse pickers, our drivers, production team and us in the office want your business to succeed and we will always try to do the best we can for our customers.
