We are passionate about supplying the best food and drink from around the South West. To this end we are constantly scouring the counties of Devon, Somerset, Cornwall and Dorset for small scale producers eager to get their product into stores.
This year we became the exclusive distributor for Ginger Cat Deli and Jessica’s Cakes. We have also been the exclusive distributor for Waterhouse Fayre for a number of years now.

Waterhouse Fayre
We first started selling Waterhouse Fayre jams, chutneys and marmalades almost 8 years ago. Liam our MD saw Ann from Waterhouse at a food show here in Devon and thought they would be a perfect fit for us. We became their exclusive distributor and since then the range has become one of our bestselling.
Established in 2004, Ann and her team make their jams, chutneys and preserves in small batches to traditional recipes from their purpose built jam kitchen in Tiverton.
What began as a way of using up surplus home-grown fruit has now expanded to include over 50 different varieties of preserves. Their products can now be found throughout Devon and beyond in farm shops, deli’s, tea rooms and hotels.
We love that there are some traditional favourites in the range like the Strawberry jam and Seville Orange marmalade; but there are also some more unusual flavours to choose from. Take the Exmoor Pond Weed chutney for example.
Originally this was named Green Tomato Chutney (for obvious reasons) but when it wasn’t selling as well as she thought it would, Ann changed the name to Exmoor Pond Weed chutney and voila! suddenly it began to fly off the shelves!
Other unusual flavours include Whortleberry Jam (the Devonian name for blueberries which are grown on Exmoor), Manglewurzel pickle and the fresh turmeric chutney. Ginger Cat Deli
A new for 2023 addition to our product range Ginger Cat Deli was originally – you guessed it – a deli in nearby Exminster. Our MD’s Liam and Hannah visited and raved about their pies, pasties and quiches.
Back in January owners Ben & Sally decided to sell the deli and move to selling their homemade products wholesale. As a small operation they didn’t have the vans or the team to deliver very widely which is where we came in.
We became their exclusive distributor and since then their products have proved extremely popular with our customers! Everything is hand produced and made using the best quality local ingredients from their kitchen in Cullompton.
They cater to wide range of tastes with flavours ranging from traditional Chicken & Ham and Steak & Ale pies to the more unusual Beef Chilli and Hunters Chicken pies.
We like to think that we listen to what our customers want and for a while now many of you have been asking for a mini quiche. The Ginger Cat quiche range has therefore been one of our bestsellers since we began stocking them. There are 7 different varieties including the Caramelised Onion & Brie (my favourite!) and the smoked salmon & dill (definitely a customer favourite!) which are all available in cases of 6.

Jessica’s Cakes
Another new addition for this year; we originally began stocking Jesscia’s Cakes for Christmas 2022. A last minute addition to our festive offering, their individual Christmas puddings absolutely flew out! It got us thinking that we could expand our product range to include their cakes and traybakes.
In January this year we became their exclusive distributor for Devon and decided to start stocking their 10″ and 6″ whole cakes as well as their individual traybakes and have not looked back since.
Based in Bridport in Dorset, Jessica’s Farmhouse Cakes originated out of a farmhouse kitchen and was established back 1998 as a family run business. Today they have outgrown the farmhouse but retain the traditional baking methods and recipes as well as the passion to create that “home-baked” taste.
The business is now owned by Neil and Maria who took over from the eponymous Jessica but were eager to continue Jessica’s philosophy of providing the highest quality cakes made using great ingredients.
My favourite is the traditional coffee & walnut cake which is deliciously moist and bursting with coffee flavour and crunchy walnuts. Their other cakes include carrot cake and Dorset Apple and we also stock their brownies, vegan flapjacks, tiffin and more!
