Georgie Porgie’s Puddings are a new addition for us. Based in Budleigh Salterton, East Devon, the company was established in 1994 with one traditional pudding recipe, similar to the kind your grandma may have made. Since then another four fruit puddings have been developed alongside a variety of traditionally steamed sponges.
George’s delicious cider and apple pudding is made using Westcountry cider, fresh apples and brandy and was launched on St George’s Day 1997. One was even given to the Queen!
His orange and Cointreau pudding is made with oranges, fresh orange juice and you guessed it, Cointreau and is bursting with rich, citrus flavours.
George’s chocolate orange and Baileys pudding combines dessert and after dinner drinks with its explosion of citrus and the creaminess of Baileys liqueur.
The recipe on which George built the business, traditional Christmas pudding made using brandy, rum, currants, sultanas and raisins. A delicious festive treat this Christmas!
