Sharpham Cheese (producers of Sharpham Brie have just released a brand new cheese and we have added a new cheese from Lynher Dairy (producers of Cornish Yarg) to our range!
Sharpham Rustic with Smoked Chilli
Need we say more on this one?! Sharpham Dairy have been working hard on this new variation of the bestselling Sharpham Rustic and we can’t wait for you try it!
The Rustic cheese is a semi-hard Jersey cow’s milk cheese with a light tang and crumbly texture. It is definitely one of our bestselling cheeses from their range alongside the Rustic with Chive & Garlic. For this version they played around with a variation of chillies from nearby South Devon Chilli Farm before finally settling on a blend of smokey chipotle, sweet ancho and spicy NuMex chillies. This was the perfect mix!
We think that they’ve really captured the smokiness from the chillies with this one. The mellowness of the cheese itself lends beautifully to the chilli flavour and we couldn’t stop eating it.

Cornish Stithians
Lynher Dairy have been producing their utterly delicious Cornish Yarg and Garlic Yarg since the 1980’s. The Yarg is wrapped in nettles whilst the Garlic Yarg is wrapped in wild garlic leaves. In both versions the leaves impart a subtle flavour into the cheese. This Stithians version, also known as Naked Yarg, is this same cheese but without any leaves. It really lets the simple, balanced flavour from the rich Cornish milk shine through.
The cheese is rinded with a single layer of wax to keep all those lovely flavours inside and the result is a delightfully buttery rich cheese.
We were sent some samples of this cheese last week and absolutely loved it so added it to our stock list. It is now available in whole and retail packs and we hope that you love it as much as we do!
