Description
Making around 70 tonnes of cheese a year, Sharpham is one of our popular local brands. Based right next to the river Dart, here in Devon, Sharpham have a wide variety of award winning cheeses. They use milk from their own Jersey cows and make all cheeses on site. The Sharpham brie is turned by hand everyday for the first week, then every other day for the following week. Once a white mould coat has formed they then pack the cheese in a breathable paper for another 2-3 weeks to mature. The cheese has a buttery taste which is creamy in texture.
