Local Artisan Farmhouse Butter

A few years ago we came into  supply issues with local rolled farmhouse butter, this is a product that customers love and without doubt always sells.

After a lot of research and samples we came across Brue Valley farmhouse rolled butter produced near Glastonbury.

We have been working with Brue Valley for three years and we couldn’t be without their creamy, artisan butter. A favourite with customers.

We have since come across another rolled butter which has also been added to our growing range of farmhouse butter –  Milk Cart salted rolled butter produced on a farm near Torrington.

Growing up on a farm myself I saw first hand how hard my Father worked to provide for us, he worked all hours of the day and night. Farming has become increasingly harder and worrying for a lot in the industry so I was really pleased to come across Sharon and Rob, a small family business like us who we can support by distributing their rolled butter.

If you are looking for block farmhouse butter, we stock the Lye Cross Westcountry butter which is in a 250g block.

Since 1952 the Alvis Family have been producing the finest farmhouse cheese at Lye Cross Farm, not far from Cheddar, situated in the Mendip Hill’s.

The Alvis family business has grown steadily and now takes milk from other farms in the surrounding area helping local farmers.

We have been stocking their block farmhouse butter since the end of 2025 and becoming a fast seller and a popular choice with customers.

All of our butter is available in single units as well as case size.
